In addition to the administrative-educational departments, this center has two laboratory spaces, including a clean room for the production of cell therapy products and a research and development laboratory

Clean room for the production of cell therapy products

This section includes the support spaces (cell bank, washing and sterilization, air generator) and the controlled space of the clean room. The clean room includes a support room with cleanliness grade D for storing clean items, a room with cleanliness grade C to support the product production area and prepare solutions needed for production, and a room with cleanlinessgrade B for the production of cell therapy and tissue engineering products.

Due to the construction limitations and the arrangement of working spaces, there is no possibility of industrial production in this space. Its main use is the production of cell therapy products with clinical application grade for clinical trials. In addition to conducting clinical trials of the center and research institute, there is a possibility of using the empty capacity of the space for other centers and researchers.

 Research and development laboratory

In this department, product research and development activities including creation and optimization of production protocols for regenerative medicine products are carried out. Also, according to the available facilities, some quality control tests of cell therapy products are also carried out in this space. This department consists of a cell culture laboratory and a general laboratory. The main equipment of this department includes the following:
